Beloved

I looked down during a lesson & saw this....

DUCK TAPE holding my student's reed container together : )

I asked if he needed another container & he said, "No." I asked him why he had duck tape on his water container & he said it got stepped on but since it's his favorite container he just taped it & it still worked. Too funny! I guess we all have our own "beloved" water containers. It's just an oboe thing! : )

No Lessons 12/9 or 12/10

My son has strep throat & I suspect that I might, too. Since it is such a contagious sickness, I will not be teaching today or tomorrow. I will see everyone next week for the last lesson before the holiday break.
