Holiday Performance Details

Here are the details for the performance on Monday, December 7th

Meet at the Hearthstone Health Center at 5:45 for setting up & warm up

Perform from 6:00PM-6:45PM

We will play and visit and hand out candy canes after. This will be a very appreciated performance & I am really looking forward to it!

Practice Party Friday!

Friday's practice party is almost here & I am looking forward to it & hope you are too! We will start eating at 5:30 & I'd like to begin playing at 5:50 or so. Please remember to bring your instrument, music, pencil, stand & $5. We will plan to be done around 7:30PM

One more reminder that there will be no lessons next week because of the Thanksgiving holiday. I am thankful for each student I teach. I hope you enjoy your holiday & count your blessings!

The date for the performance is Monday, December 7th. The first location has fallen through so I am working on a new location & I will let you know details as soon as they become available. I am trying to find a retirement home in Round Rock.

Congrats to all my students who participated in District Try-outs yesterday! I am so proud of all your hard work! Auditions are not an easy thing to do, but so much is gained from preparing & participating in such auditions! Way to go oboes!!!

Holiday Perfromance Details

Thank you for your feedback on our upcoming holiday performance. As to be expected when trying to coordinate 30 people, there were conflicts with each date. I am sorry that a couple of students will miss the practice party but the other dates had even more conflicts.

The practice party will be Friday, November 20th from 5:30-7:30 PM at my house. Each student should bring their instrument, music stand, holiday music folder, pencil, & $5 for dinner. I will provide paper goods, drinks, & dessert.

The performance will be Monday December 7th. I will give you more details as soon as I get the details coordinated with the locations' social director.

I appreciate the support for this special effort. I know it will be a rewarding experience for all involved. Feel free to participate on the 7th even if the practice date doesn't work for you! There should be lots of practicing going on between now & then. : )
